Are you still ok with the invisible bug thing ?

I still get bites when I go out to the park , docks etc.

Just wondering if you are still free of them

Sorry to hear of your plight…I can so relate…no one understands unless they have been through this…they cannot! I am not sure if you have a relationship with Christ…but He does understand! My prayer is that all of us that are experiencing this will be able to draw close to Him and sense His love, peace, and comfort during this storm. You are really not alone…although I know it feels that way. I believe that He wants you to know that He cares…I go through periods…on a moment by momnent basis…where I feel the very same way…right now I can offer you some compassion and understanding.

God please meet Karen right where she is this moment and help her to know that You are there in the midst of this trial. We don’t understand this situation…but we know that You are soverign and as we release these things to You…somehow You use them to change us into people that have your likeness…You allow us to offer hope and comfort to others that go through similar trials. Please be with all of us that have been experiencing this…I pray for healing and restoration….most of all I pray that You will become our very real source of strength, comfort, peace, and hope!

Hi Everyone I have been battling this problem for over 3 years! I at first thought we had lice and treated several times with no success> The kids and my husband don’t really seem to notice anything, but my symptoms got worse> These mites which look like pepper , felt like thousands in my hair! I purchased enzyme cleaner and lice r gone , also sulfa derm which helped tremendously! You need to do your whole body though! Also denorex extra strength shampoo seems to help, probably because of the mint. Tea tree oil and neem in a tub with enzymes and borax really seem to make a difference. I feel I have rid myself alot of these mites and rarely feel any crawling , however i cannot get my husband or children to help and treat regularly as they don’t notice much and i feel you constantly get re inffected from doing everyones laundry and cleaning . I have used vinegar to clean mostly and enzymes however i will try using mint in the air. There is a product called white flower and is available usually in China town! It has 16 % menthol 28 % eucalptus oil,18 % peppermint oil, and 10% camphor.I am going to try this in a steamer for the house to see if it helps. You can put it on your skin for sore muscles but i use it for the mites. As soon as my wounds a healed i will be getting everyone to treat with 5% permythrin. I tryied to stay away from this as we used so much about 3 years ago how ever we did not do our entire bodies. Hopefully this will work! I am not keen on this but i don’t know whar else to do > Desperate, alone , and severally depressed as no one in my family seems to care.

Thanks for the support…I have not checked this website in a while because I am hoping and praying this situation will somehow improve…I too keep praying and am trying to draw close to God in the midst of this trial. I am exhausted!!!! I cannot keep up with the cleaning, washing, caring for pets etc…at some point I have to try to let go. Today it was so hot here that I decided to turn my air conditioner on and I am living in fear that this will set off an avalanche…please Lord…let the air not create new problems…anyway, Kara…I would love the support and help through this…you cannot understand it unless you are living it and people just don’t get it…thank God for them…I need to run…but I will check back soon. Thanks. May the mites…or whatever this is…be gone!!!!

Also, what about the kitchen? Did you dust and spray all the kitchen cabinets on the inside?

Has anyone actually had success with freezing those items that cannot be washed (i.e. men’s suits, silk dresses, etc.)?

First, thank you, thank you, thank you for this bit of hope. Everything else we ahve been reading on the internet is so negative and discouraging.

A few questions:

We have hardwood floors and I don’t think we can use bleach on them. Any other ideas/recommendations? Or has anyone had luck with using the bleach solution?

What about dry-cleanables? What has everyone done with them (assuming you didn’t use the TKO Cleaner)?

We have large drapes and some big throw pillow that won’t fit in the washer. Any ideas for safely cleaning these? Perhaps spraying them or using the Rug Doctor on them?

What about kids’ toys? (We have a 3 and 1 year old.) What have you done to clean them?

I am pregnant also, so I am very scared to use very harsh chemicals.
